I have chosen to use LED strips as my light source for this design project as they are long lasting, durable and bright. The LED lights that i have used in my wood are also 100% water proof which is perfect for the situation, as this concept is an outdoor garden sculptural light. They run off a 12v battery which will run continuously for around 12 hours at any time. This design also has the ability to be able to be hooked into mains power with a transformer.
